About CMAT 2024 Examination
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for
admission to management programmes in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE Affiliated/
Participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in their Institutions.
Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is
conducting this Test since 2019.
The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE – Approved Institutions / University Departments /
Constituent Colleges / Affiliated College
Examination CMAT 2024
CMAT-2024 will be conducted by NTA as three-hour entrance Examination in Computer
Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like
Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language
Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, for admission to the
Management Courses in the Academic Session 2024-25. The participating Institutes of CMAT2024 are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score.

Candidates applying for the post can choose to pay using Debit Card Credit Card UPI or NET Banking as per the applicable fee listed below depending on the category of applicant
The pattern of Examination Common Management Admission Test CMAT-2024
Medium of the Question Paper:
The medium of the Question Paper shall be in English only.
Marking Scheme of CMAT-2024:
i) Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
ii) For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
iii) For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
iv) Unanswered/un-attempted will be given no marks.
v) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.
vi) However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple
correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as
per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
vii) In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all
the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not.
Eligibility Criteria for CMAT-2024
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the
the final year of Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2024-25, can also apply for CMAT-2024.
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT- 2024.
